Coconuts and Sunsets

Passing our time in the time-honoured tradition in Goa of doing nothing

While Reut (remember her? See the story on Udaipur for a refresh!) And I settled into a more quiet existence Robert headed for the all night beach parties in Anjuna! And boy did he have fun! (We cant really print the rest of that at the time being, to protect the names of the not-so-innocents! You ladies know who you are!). While I was learning to climb coconut trees (much the dismay of both my tree-scaling mentor, Wasou, and my tree-sliding groin no names please see picture), Robert, however, had other trees to climb (see picture).

The days seemed longer as the hours got shorter (due to oversleeping, of course!). When one has so little to do and more time to do it in, Time becomes an irrelevance (those living in big cities, working nine to five eat your heart out!). So the highlight of many a day was watching the sunset at the Olive Ridley with different people every night. One of the great virtues of this place, bar the staff, location etc is the eclectic mix of tourists and travellers that pass through, owing in part to its location but more so to its charm. See the sunset see picture!

And to finish the day, a sunset at the Olive Ridley
